Starlight & Spurs: The Night Two Step Hall Came Alive

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to open Two Step Hall. Starlight & Spurs brought together the partners, builders and visionaries who helped shape Two Step Farm — and we tipped our hats to them with a night that felt straight out of a Lone Star songbook.

Dale Watson & His Lone Stars fired up the crowd, Asleep at the Wheel kept the two-steppers spinning and that dance floor never once cooled off. If breaking in a brand-new hall requires heart, heat and a little dust on your boots, consider the job well done.

And as big as the music was, the impact was even bigger. Together, we raised $66,000 for Texas Dance Hall Preservation, helping protect the halls, history and honky-tonk traditions that inspired this place from the start.
