Over 100 years ago, on a hot, dusty day, a goat wandered into the town of Montgomery, TX. Before long, townsfolk offered him cool water from the town’s well — and that’s not all. Soon shopkeepers were giving him food, the saloon was giving him beer and “Monty” became a local celebrity in his own right. Today, this spirit of friendliness and generosity lives on at Two Step Farm where goats make some of our favorite neighbors. (But let’s steer clear of giving them beer.)
